Franks: Shoot down N. Korean missiles

Arizona Congressman Trent Franks is calling for the United States to take tough action against North Korea's nuclear program.
On Friday, North Korea fired its sixth missile since Monday's nuclear test and warned the United National Security Council that "there is a limit" to North Korea's patience. The communist regime said it will retaliate if provoked by the Security Council.
Franks, a Republican, said the U.S. should act swiftly.
"Some days back -- long before their recent missile tests -- I advocated -- and it might sound a little dramatic -- I advocated that, if any North Korean missile goes into international airspace or over international waters, the United States should shoot it down," Franks said.
He added, "The more we stand aside, the more the super power of the world stands aside and lets this happen, the more chance there is for some miscalculation to be made, some lack of clarity on our part to be perceived."
Franks said allowing the missile tests to continue will embolden North Korea to market its nuclear technology to other rogue states.
