Woman shot in early morning break-in

PHOENIX -- A pregnant woman was shot in the head as she emerged from hiding after a home invasion in Maryvale early Tuesday.

The woman was critically wounded, police said.

According to police, the woman, her husband and two kids huddled in the bathroom after they heard a window shatter.

When the woman thought the suspect was gone, she stepped out of the bathroom and was hit by a single shot, police said.

They said the suspect, who was wearing dark, baggy clothes, fled the area near Osborn and 43rd Avenue.

Police are still searching for him.

    Sounds like these landscapers were out of work, so they resorted to attempted murder and armed robbery. Another couple of "gude boys, de never do THAT much bad tings!"

    Let's see - baggy dark clothes, 43rd and Osborn, Mayvale - I'm guessing it wasn't Sven Olsen. How sad, slimy creep shoots a pregnant woman in the head. The whole area is just a trashed filthy scumhole.
