Super Pac-conference would be awesome for fans

Pac-16 or Big 16. Call it what you want, I say it's awesome!
The meetings that are taking place in SF this weekend with the powers that be of the Pac-10 is so exciting for college football I can't stand it.
According to a report on www.orangebloods.com the Pac-10 is ready to invite Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Colorado to join its league, according to multiple sources close to the situation.
Those six schools from the Big 12 would join ASU and UA in one division of the new Pac-16 or Big 16 or Super 16 or whatever the heck they want to call it! The other eight-team division would consist of USC, UCLA, Cal, Stanford, Oregon, Oregon State, Washington and Washington State.
This is all about money and how with this Super Conference a TV Network would be created that would add millions of dollars to the bank accounts of all these universities.
I am not so sure how excited UA and ASU would be to have to battle Texas and OU in the new division especially in football every year. There is a real chance that they could become Baylor or one of these teams that can only battle for a division title once every decade or so. Oh wait...That's how it is right now for both of the AZ schools so why not do it!
Can you imagine getting ready on a Saturday afternoon for your tailgate party in Tempe as you get ready for ASU vs. Texas at Sun Devil Stadium.
How about a few weeks later when Texas A&M comes to town followed by USC and Oregon. Now that's a schedule!
How about you and your boys or you and your family taking that Devils road trip to Norman, Okla. to see ASU at Oklahoma. No offense to Washington State, but the road trip to Pullman, Washington isn't exactly on my bucket list (even though I have already done it)!
I got a few more for you.
How about a weekend baseball series at Packard Stadium between ASU and Texas or that Thursday night basketball game at McKale Center with Texas or Oklahoma at UA. This would be great for the fans, again not so sure great for the schools success on the field especially in football. UA might never see the Rose Bowl.
