This crime will haunt an 18-year-old Phoenix woman for the rest of her life.

"She was parked at the Walgreens at 24th Street and Indian School Road waiting for a friend to get off from work," says Phoenix Police Sgt. Paul Penzone.

It was after 10 o'clock on Monday night, November 11th, 2006.

"While sitting in her car, she was approached by the suspect who was holding a semi-automatic handgun. He forced her into her passenger seat, got into the car and then drove into the Paradise Valley area."

There, he pulled the car over and sexually assaulted her.

"After committing this crime, he got of the car and got into a Dodge pick-up truck that was parked behind her car."

The getaway truck had followed them from the Walgreens. It's a full-sized Dodge pick-up with a silver toolbox in the back.

The young woman wasn't able to describe the driver, but did get a good look at her attacker.

"The suspect is described as white, 25 to 35 years old, about 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-10, 130 to 160 pounds. He has sandy brown hair, was wearing a long sleeve blue t-shirt with a design on the front."

"He had on blue jeans and black shoes and she described him as very skinny, sunken face and appeared to be a drug user."

And ladies, let this be a reminder. "There are predators and you need to be careful and aware of your surroundings."
