Government spending under scrutiny

PHOENIX - Seven-hundred thousand taxpayer dollars are footing the bill at a local resort for hundreds of members of the Social Security Administration.
The Government flew 700 managers to the Valley for a three-day retreat at the Biltmore where they are undergoing diversity training and stress management, listening to motivational speakers and watching skits.
There will also be dancing, music and a casino night.
Peter Spencer with the S.S.A insists this is not another AIG situation.
"[There is] a clear distinction between the two," he said. "They received specific bailout dollars - we didn't. We're not using any recovery money."
Spencer told the Fox News Channel that they scoured resorts coast to coast and the Biltmore had the cheapest rate, coming in at less than $100 a night.
